How to get to Cartmel

By Road

Leave the M6 at Junction 36 and take the A590 towards Grange-over-Sands and Ulverston.
After Grange, the turn off for Cartmel is clearly signposted to the left at the top of a long steep hill.
On entering the village pass the Spar on your right, continue and pass the secondary school on your left.
At the next junction turn left. Calsfell View is the second house on the left. There are 2 parking spaces against the wall, please reverse park for safety when leaving.

By Bus

Public transport to Cartmel is limited to a bus from Grange-over-Sands which does a circuitous route around the villages several times a day.

By Rail

Trains stop at Grange-over-Sands and Cark-in-Cartmel. There is no taxi rank at either station, taxis can be pre-booked to meet you on your arrival.
